First Impressions Last

When I show homes to potential buyers, Im amazed by how often minor details will either completely turn them off or draw them in. My team and I at Rabell Realty Group would like to share some tips to help you easily give the outside of your home a more inviting look and feel, giving your visitors an impression that leaves them feeling good.

Create a well-defined walkway that leads to a freshly painted door.

Pressure wash the home if needed and clean all windows.

A beautiful clear baby blue pool can be a plus for some buyers. A green one with tad poles can be a real turn off.

Repair any obvious exterior wood rot. Not only will it be necessary anyway on a FHA or VA contract, it will give a potential buyer the impression the home has been well maintained.

Store garbage cans and recycle bins where they can’t be seen. Create a barrier if needed.

Tidy up the existing landscape and add greenery or colorful flowers to define the entrance way.

Do these things and you’ll be off to a great start. If you’d like more a more personalized, indepth list of what you can do to your home, inside and out, I’d be happy to chat. Just send me a message or give me a call.
