Opening the windows to feel the cool, invigorating breeze, breaking out my long, fuzzy robe, the smell of simmering soup, wistful moments – This season quietly sneaks up on us then leaves too soon. So take it in. Enjoy every nuance.
These are just a few of the ways we enjoy the season in our home…
- After you’ve cleaned out your pumpkin, separate the seeds by squeezing the guts of the pumpkin with your hands. Save the seeds for roasting. It’s slimy, aromatic fun.
- Go to the farmers market to get the freshest fall vegetables. Try something new.
- Eat outside. There’s never been a better time.
- If you’re crafty, use what you can find and get gluen’! Have no shame.
